Mirror-Image meth: scientists uncover how two forms affect the body

NCT ID NCT06746831

First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at two mirror-image forms of methamphetamine: one found in decongestant sprays and a stronger one used for ADHD. Researchers will give these to 17 healthy adults and measure how the body processes them and how they affect thinking. The goal is to better understand their effects, not to treat any disease.
