Researchers track how cannabis history changes meth psychosis

Summary

This study aims to understand how a history of cannabis use affects the severity and course of psychosis symptoms in people hospitalized for methamphetamine-induced psychosis. Researchers will follow 90 hospitalized patients for eight weeks, comparing those with and without significant past cannabis use. The goal is to identify factors that influence symptom progression and determine if cannabis history makes a difference in recovery.
