Summary

This phase 3 study tests whether adding metformin (a common diabetes medicine) to standard targeted therapy (tyrosine kinase inhibitors) can help people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has an EGFR mutation. About 312 participants will receive either metformin or a placebo alongside their regular treatment. The goal is to see if the combination delays cancer growth and improves survival.
