Summary

This study aims to find out if taking metformin before surgery changes how likely patients are to feel sick or vomit after general anesthesia. Researchers will follow 909 adults who are already taking metformin for diabetes and compare them to those not on the drug. The goal is to better understand how this common medication affects recovery.
