Summary

This study tests whether metformin, a common diabetes medicine, can help children and young adults with a rare brain tumor called PFA ependymoma that has come back or grown after standard treatments. About 30 participants will receive metformin to see if it can slow tumor growth or shrink the tumor. The goal is to find a new way to control this difficult-to-treat cancer.
