Summary
This study tests whether adding metformin, a diabetes drug, to usual care can reduce pain and improve knee function in people with knee osteoarthritis. About 70 adults aged 30 to 60 with moderate knee arthritis will take metformin or a placebo alongside their regular treatments. The goal is to see if metformin can help control symptoms like pain and stiffness.
