Diabetes drug shows promise for Kids' brain recovery after tumor treatment

Summary
This study tests whether metformin, a drug used for diabetes, can help children and teens recover memory and thinking skills after brain tumor treatment. About 140 participants aged 7 to 21 will take metformin or a placebo for 16 weeks. The goal is to see if the drug improves memory, thinking speed, and brain growth.
