Summary
This study aims to find out if taking metformin, a common diabetes medication, changes how well healthy young adults can exercise. Researchers will give 20 participants either metformin or a placebo and measure their endurance on a stationary bike and their blood lactate levels. The goal is to understand if this widely used drug could impact fitness performance in people without diabetes.
