Researchers map the Real-Life battle against spreading bone cancers
NCT ID NCT03963531
Summary
This study looked back at the medical records of 545 patients to understand how doctors treat metastatic bone tumors in real-world settings. It focused on patients aged 12 and older diagnosed with specific bone cancers between 2008 and 2018. The goal was to describe the treatments used and measure how long patients lived after their cancer spread, to identify patterns and gaps in care.
