First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This observational study aims to find specific chemical markers (metabolites) in the blood and urine of children aged 12-17 with asthma that could signal an asthma attack. Researchers will analyze samples from 100 children with mild, moderate, and severe asthma who are already receiving standard care. The goal is to better understand asthma and potentially improve diagnosis, but no new treatments are being tested.
