Scientists probe hidden side effects of cancer drugs

NCT ID NCT07393633

Summary

This study aimed to understand how standard chemotherapy or immunotherapy for gynecologic cancers affects the body's overall energy and fat metabolism. Researchers measured breathing and blood markers in 43 women before and after a single treatment cycle. The goal was to gather basic knowledge about treatment side effects on the body, not to test a new therapy.
