NCT ID NCT06624462
Summary
This study is testing whether a specialized metabolic health clinic can help people with severe mental illnesses like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder manage weight gain and other health risks caused by their antipsychotic medications. The clinic will provide focused care on diet, exercise, and monitoring heart health risks. Researchers will compare outcomes for 84 participants who either attend this new clinic or receive their usual standard care over 12 months.
