New weekly shot for weight loss enters human testing

NCT ID NCT07022977

Summary

This study is testing a new drug called MET233, given as a weekly injection, to see if it is safe and helps with weight loss in adults who are overweight or have obesity. Researchers will give the drug to healthy volunteers at different doses to check for side effects and measure how much weight they lose. The goal is to gather information to see if the drug works well enough to test in larger future studies.
