Summary
This study tested a new medicine called MET097, given as a weekly injection, to help adults with overweight or obesity lose weight. The trial involved 120 otherwise healthy participants and looked at safety, how the drug works in the body, and weight change over 12 weeks. Some participants received the drug and others received a placebo (inactive shot) to compare results.
