Summary
This study tested a new weekly injection called MET097 to see if it is safe and helps with weight loss in adults who are overweight or obese but otherwise healthy. About 120 participants received either the drug or a placebo (a dummy injection) for up to 12 weeks. The main goal was to see how much body weight changed and to understand how the drug moves through the body.
