Can mentors stop the stress for women in construction?
NCT ID NCT04247880
Summary
This study tested if a formal mentorship program could help women apprentices in the sheet metal trade. Experienced workers were trained as mentors and matched with about 100 women apprentices. Researchers followed these apprentices for two years to see if the program reduced their work stress and risk of injury, and helped them stay in their training.
