Brain teasers for better steps: math may boost stroke recovery
NCT ID NCT07327814
Summary
This study is testing if a simple mental exercise—doing quick math problems—can help people walk better after a stroke. Researchers will have some participants do 30 seconds of mental math before walking tests, while others just look at pictures. They will then measure walking speed and balance to see if the mental 'warm-up' provides an immediate benefit.
