First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether mental imagery — picturing movements without actually doing them — can immediately improve hand and finger skills in people with Parkinson's disease. About 30 adults with mild to moderate Parkinson's will participate. Researchers will measure how quickly and accurately they can perform a pegboard task, both physically and in their imagination.
