Can trained peers stop doctor burnout?
NCT ID NCT07161284
Summary
This study tests whether training some medical residents in mental health first aid helps improve the well-being of their fellow residents. It will follow over 500 first- and second-year residents in Lyon for a year, comparing those with access to trained peers to those without. The goal is to see if this peer support reduces symptoms of burnout, anxiety, and depression.
