Summary
This study tested whether a special educational program could reduce stigma toward mental illness among 165 primary health care providers. Participants attended sessions about mental health awareness and filled out questionnaires before and after the program. The goal was to see if the training improved their attitudes, beliefs, and knowledge about mental illness compared to a group that did not receive the training.
