Summary

This study tested a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) program designed to reduce self-stigma in adults with gambling disorder. 26 participants were split into two groups: one received four sessions of self-stigma-focused CBT, while the other served as a control. Researchers measured changes in self-stigma and gambling severity before, after, and one month following treatment to see if the therapy helped reduce both.
