Summary
This study tests whether trained community health workers (Promotores de Salud) can help Latino adults learn about mental health services, reduce stigma, and seek help before a crisis. About 192 participants from specific San Jose zip codes will attend six educational sessions. The goal is to improve mental health literacy and increase use of professional support.
