Study reveals hidden struggles of young diabetics
NCT ID NCT07452393
Summary
This study aimed to better understand the mental health and daily self-care challenges faced by young people (ages 10-25) living with type 1 diabetes in Spain. Researchers surveyed 115 participants through an anonymous online questionnaire to explore links between psychological distress, eating disorder risks, and how well they manage their diet, exercise, and treatment. The goal was to gather knowledge to potentially inform future support programs, not to test a new treatment.
