Tracking young minds: 2-Year study reveals what protects mental health
NCT ID NCT04333797
Summary
This study followed 252 young people starting at age 17 for two years to understand what factors increase or decrease their risk of developing mental health challenges during the transition to adulthood. Researchers assessed participants' mental health, quality of life, family relationships, and thinking skills at the beginning and end of the study. The goal was to gather information that could help create better support systems for young adults moving from teen to adult mental health services.
