Mind over matter: can positive thinking boost activity after weight loss surgery?

NCT ID NCT04867902

Summary

This small study tested whether a mental health program could help people be more physically active after weight loss surgery. Twelve participants who had surgery 6-12 months earlier received a 10-week program of weekly phone calls, a workbook, and a fitness tracker. The main goal was to see if the program was practical and acceptable, while also checking if it increased activity levels and improved mood.
