New program aims to ease mental health struggles for immigrant youth

Summary

This study is testing a new group program designed to support the mental health of Ethiopian and Eritrean young adults in Atlanta. The program, called Weyera, focuses on building resilience through weekly sessions that teach coping skills and provide a supportive space. Researchers will enroll 60 participants to see if the program is practical, safe, and helpful before launching a larger trial.
