Heart Patients' hidden struggle: study probes mental toll of Life-Saving ICU care

Summary

This study aims to understand the mental health impact on patients who survived a dangerous heart condition called electrical storm. Researchers will ask 70 patients who received intensive care treatment to complete questionnaires about their anxiety, depression, and quality of life 3-6 months after their hospital stay. The goal is to learn how this traumatic medical experience affects patients' wellbeing to improve future care.
