NCT ID NCT07323810
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study explores whether wearable sensors can objectively measure mental fatigue in healthy runners aged 18-35. Participants will complete a mentally tiring task or watch a documentary, then run 5 km on a treadmill while sensors track heart rate, breathing, and eye movements. The goal is to develop a real-time method to detect mental fatigue, which could help prevent errors in high-stakes jobs like surgery or sports.
