Summary
This study tested whether a new medication called elinzanetant could improve sleep for women experiencing nighttime awakenings during menopause. Researchers compared elinzanetant against a placebo in 110 participants over 12 weeks, measuring sleep quality through overnight sleep tests and daily diaries. The goal was to see if this drug could reduce wakeful time at night and help women get more restful sleep.
