Scientists probe hidden link between menopause and stress
NCT ID NCT07420218
Summary
This study aims to understand how the hormone changes of menopause affect the body's automatic nervous system, which controls things like heart rate and blood pressure. Researchers will temporarily adjust hormone levels in 80 perimenopausal women and use brain scans and nerve measurements to see how the body responds. The goal is to gather knowledge, not to provide a treatment.
