New knee implant aims to boost healing after meniscus surgery

NCT ID NCT06041763

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a special collagen implant, called the BEAR implant, improves healing after surgery to repair a torn meniscus in the knee. Researchers will compare the recovery of 80 patients who get the implant with those who get standard repair surgery alone. The main goals are to see if the implant leads to better knee function, less pain, and a lower chance of the repair failing again.
