Promising drug combo could tame debilitating vertigo in Meniere's disease

Summary

This study tests whether a stepwise regimen of two medications, nortriptyline and topiramate, can reduce vertigo and other symptoms in people with Meniere's disease. The trial will enroll 40 adults aged 25 to 85 who have active or frequent symptoms. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive the drug combo or a placebo, and researchers will measure changes in quality of life and symptom severity over time.
