Scientists track rare cancer syndrome over years to find better treatments

NCT ID NCT01660984

Summary

This study aims to understand how medullary thyroid cancer and the related MEN2 genetic syndrome develop and change over time in children and adults. Researchers will observe 259 participants who have the condition, tracking their health through regular check-ups, scans, and blood tests. The goal is to gather detailed information to help design better future treatments, but this study itself does not provide any new therapy.
