Brain scans reveal how remembering changes your visual cortex

NCT ID NCT07442266

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how recalling memories over and over changes the way the brain processes visual information. Healthy adults will have their brains scanned with fMRI while they remember pictures and patterns. The goal is to understand whether repeated recall strengthens or alters brain activity, not to treat any disease.
