New study tracks memory loss in kids after brain radiation

Summary
This study follows 130 children who had radiation for a brain tumor between ages 4 and 12. Researchers will test their memory and thinking skills 2 and 4 years after treatment, and also look at brain scans to see how radiation dose to the hippocampus relates to memory problems. The goal is to better understand long-term effects, not to test a new treatment.
