Scientists probe why kidney treatments fail
NCT ID NCT06994468
Summary
This study aimed to understand why some patients with a kidney disease called membranous nephropathy do not get better with standard treatment. Researchers analyzed blood samples from 48 patients who had tried two newer therapies. They looked closely at specific immune cells to see how these treatments worked and why they might sometimes fail.
