Summary
This study tested whether memantine, a drug used for Alzheimer's, can help with cognitive problems (like memory and focus issues) in people with lupus. 111 adults with lupus and low cognitive test scores took either memantine or a placebo for 14 weeks. The goal was to see if the drug could safely improve thinking and memory.
