NCT ID NCT07164794

Not yet recruiting Disease control Sponsor: Bin Xu Source: ClinicalTrials.gov ↗

Summary

This study is testing if a drug called memantine hydrochloride, commonly used for Alzheimer's disease, can help control advanced prostate cancer that has spread and stopped responding to standard hormone therapies. It will involve about 15 men who have already tried one or two other treatments. Researchers will see if adding memantine to their current care helps slow the cancer's growth and lowers their PSA levels.
