Summary
This study tested whether melatonin patches placed on the skin could safely reduce anxiety in children during dental visits. It involved 52 children aged 5-7 who needed dental work. Researchers compared children who received real melatonin patches to those who received placebo stickers, measuring anxiety levels, heart rate, and blood pressure before and after treatment.
