Could melatonin help heal new Moms' hearts?

Summary

This study tests whether adding melatonin to standard heart failure treatment helps women with peripartum cardiomyopathy (a weak heart after childbirth) recover better. 25 women will receive either standard therapy alone or with melatonin for 3 months. Researchers will measure heart function and inflammation to see if melatonin improves outcomes.
