New combo therapy tested for stubborn skin discoloration
NCT ID NCT07448415
Summary
This study is testing whether combining an oral medication (tranexamic acid) with a skin treatment (glutathione-assisted microneedling) works better than either treatment alone for reducing melasma. Melasma causes dark, patchy discoloration on the face, often in women. Researchers will measure how much the skin condition improves and how satisfied patients are with the results.
