Cancer-killing virus injected into melanoma tumors in new trial

Summary

This early-phase study tests a virus called DNX-2401 that is designed to infect and destroy melanoma cells. About 50 adults with stage IV melanoma that has spread to the brain or other organs will receive injections of the virus. The main goal is to find the safest dose and number of injections, not to cure the disease.
