Blood test could personalize melanoma treatment, spare patients unnecessary drugs
NCT ID NCT07504796
Summary
This study is testing if a blood test can help doctors make smarter treatment decisions for people with advanced melanoma. It aims to see if changing a patient's treatment based on the blood test results leads to better outcomes than waiting for a scan to show the cancer is growing. The goal is to give the right treatment at the right time, potentially helping patients live longer without their cancer worsening and avoiding unnecessary side effects.
