Scientists test 'Living Drug' to fight advanced skin cancer

NCT ID NCT05176470

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a two-part treatment for advanced melanoma that has spread. Doctors take a patient's own immune cells from a tumor, grow them in a lab, and then infuse them back, combined with an immunotherapy drug (pembrolizumab). The goal is to see if this approach is safe and can shrink tumors before surgery.
