NCT ID NCT00338377
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests a treatment for people with advanced melanoma that has spread. Doctors first weaken the immune system with chemotherapy, then give back specially grown immune cells (TILs) to fight the cancer. Some patients also get a dendritic cell vaccine to help the T cells last longer. The goal is to see if the vaccine helps the T cells stay active and shrink tumors. The trial includes several groups exploring different ways to give the treatment, including directly into the spinal fluid.
