Skin graft vs. flap: which heals better after cancer removal?

NCT ID NCT07354152

Summary

This study compares two standard methods for repairing skin after melanoma removal surgery. Researchers want to see if using a perforator flap (moving nearby healthy skin) leads to faster healing and better quality of life compared to a traditional skin graft (taking skin from another area). The study will involve 40 adults with stage II melanoma on their trunk, abdomen, or limbs.
