First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at whether working outdoors in the sun increases the risk of melanoma, a type of skin cancer. Researchers in Modena, Italy, will interview 300 people (120 with melanoma and 180 without) about their job history, sun habits, and protection use. The goal is to better understand the connection and help identify cases that should be reported as work-related diseases.
