New combo aims to reboot immune system against tough melanoma
NCT ID NCT04688658
Summary
This study tested a combination of two drugs, duvelisib (a pill) and nivolumab (an IV infusion), for people with advanced melanoma that could not be removed by surgery and had gotten worse despite standard immunotherapy. The goal was to see if adding duvelisib could help the immune system fight the cancer again. The trial was stopped early after enrolling only 13 patients.
