First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study is looking at 200 people who have suspicious skin moles that need to be removed. Researchers will use a special microscope to examine the moles and also perform genetic tests on the removed tissue. The goal is to see if combining these methods can help doctors tell the difference between harmless moles and early-stage melanoma more accurately. This is an observational study, meaning no new treatments are being tested.
