Scientists test drug duos to fight cancer in the brain

NCT ID NCT05704933

Summary

This small, early study tested the safety and feasibility of giving a single dose of one of two different drug combinations to patients with melanoma that had spread to the brain. The patients then had surgery to remove the brain tumor 7-10 days later. The main goal was to see if researchers could recruit enough patients and to study how the drugs changed the immune cells in and around the tumor.
